I am the Falls Lead for an NHS Trust. We are just about to pilot some non slip socks and I wondered if anyone else out there had any experience of their use in preventing falls?

H Seem to remember something from Germany that in some cases it caused more falls that it prevented... However it just may be the way they cut the results...excuse the pun.
There was another case where in the home care environment of a similar result, which was around changing surfaces.
I will have a search and ask...
cheers Steve

I haven't had experience in a work related situation, but my wife has a lovely pair that I bought her last Christmas and they seem pretty effective at keeping her feet warm and I haven't seen or heard her fall over - yet
