Can you remind me where in LOLER it mentions inspectors being required to report defects to the HSE? I have thumbed through my copy a few times but cannot find this bit.

I was intrigued so had a quick flick through the ACOP. Reg 10. 1.c and Sections 351 and 352 deal with this.

Thanks David, I lnew it was there somewhere but I was looking at the Regulation and not the guidance - much appreciated.

Agree with David, but if you read Reg 10, (4a & 4b) it may not be the HSE.
