I occasionally notify a construction project in Northern Ireland using my home made form.
I do it that way to make my life easier by cutting and pasting most of the information, lots of which is duplicated, PCs, Client details etc.
Each time I use my own form I get a telephone call from HSENI asking (telling) me to use their NI 10 form on internet.
The most recent call was today when I was told if I do not use their form I will receive a call every time until I start to use theirs.
Has anyone else had this experience?
By the way it is OK to use another form of notification it just makes life easier for HSENI if I use theirs.
Happy New Year.

Hi, I regularly submit NI 10's to HSENI using a home made form. I have not had any adverse comments. The HSENI online NI 10 form has a drawback: it only permits one council area to be included on their form. We frequently have single projects spanning multiple council areas. Their "downlable/ Word" NI 10 cannot be completed electronically: it must be completed in ink.
Happy New Year!

Firesafety,
As the electronic F10 is administered by a third party (Capita), I suspect the HSE has now quietly dropped the task of administering faxed copies which has now left the poor HSE clerk with the task of electronically re-submitting your F10.
For a quite life I would enter this electronically yourself, at least you will know that the administration process is complete!

Thanks for the replies.
The HSE lady told me about the Word version but that needs to be printed out, completed by hand then posted or scanned/emailed.
"For a quiet life" should not be the case. I believe I should be able to use my own template.
I've started to copy their form to make a template on my PC. Although I disagree with this it will assist me in future. I just hope they accept my version of their form?
Happy new year to you all.
