I am looking at the training for senior managers, at one point we were going to use the Managing Safely but don't feel this is suitable.

What areas should be covered and how long do you recommend giving the attention span of senior managers. (tongue firmly in cheek)

Look for 'Directing Safely' or similar titles from IOSH or BSC. One day, good solid approach to describing their levels of responsibility and signposting where to get info from.

I have used Risk and Safety + for this in the past, they provided what we needed at reasonable costs, other training providers will be available.

What areas should be covered" = It all depends on your needs so ID them and act from there

"and how long do you recommend giving the attention span of senior managers" = in most cases the attention span of managers is down to the presenter as many presenters can make people laugh etc. and want more after 6 hours where others have people turned off after 5 mins! - death by Power Point is another issue to consider

Check the web for human attention spans when the human is not really interested - U will find that it is short!
