I am looking for someone with practical experience of operating a mobile service in Scotland which results in producing hazardous (special) waste (eg waste lead acid batteries) which are then taken back to a base for onward disposal.

I am trying to establish the practicalities of consignment notes particularly where small quantities, from different addresses are regularly removed.

Many thanks

Hi Phil,

I have worked with businesses in Scotland that have an almost identical profile to what you have described. They attend breakdowns. They feel that in most cases the system is unworkable.

Hi Stel 669

Many thanks for your reply - which made me smile however I am coming to the same conclusion as the businesses with which you have worked.

Thanks anyway

Phil
