I want to save my company a load of dosh by doing a Train the Trainer in Manual Handling.
From what I've seen out there from the companies that do this course is: they just teach you how to put across the subject.
I was expecting not only this but course material in respect of the subject to be taught.
Am I deluded? Anyone recommend a good company for Train the Trainer please in the South East region?

My TTT course in manual handling was very good, probably a bit too far north for you but they did supply, on request, a copy of a powerpoint presentation, minus the corporate logos of course.
One advantage of providing in-house manual handling is that you can use props that are used everyday in your industry and.... more importantly in the situation that they are handled. ( not just a box in the middle of the room). Handling windows for installation in houses can be demanding on the manual handler.

Rich,
Send me your email and i will forward you on the name of a very good provider, both on training & presentation techniques but also in depth manual handling aspects. The course is accredited to city & guilds and reasonably priced. The chap is an IOSH who uses the forum & advertises in the SHP magazine.
