Afternoon All, I would be interested to hear from fellow IOSH members their thoughts on CoSHH assessments and the requirement to present them with a current and relevant material data handling sheet. Is there a legal requirement? If so can you identify that specific piece of legislation? Kind regards, Jason

There's no legal requirement at all about how COSHH assessments are presented, only about how they are done and what information from them must be communicated.

You don't HAVE to present them with the MSDS as well as the risk assessment but you do have to make the MSDS available/allow access to it. (Reg 12 - as stated).
