HI.
Is it worthwhile doing the NEBOSH fire certificate if you already have the NEBOSH diploma. I have the diploma and currently work as an EHS advisor for a very large company. My company will pay for this for me and I think it will look good on my CV.
Am I likely to learn much seeing as I have already have the dip? Has anyone got the NEBOSH cert? Was it a good course?
Any comments would be very much appreciated

I did this course a couple of years after I finished the diploma and was disappointed as I found that I didn't learn that much. However I had quite a bit of fire experience already but it was good for my CV and in the case of completing a fire risk assessment and evidencing my experience. I would recommend that depending on your reasons it would be better to do a different course, there are others out there that will give better information etc in my opinion

Thanks, I took it because due to the reasonably low cost (less than 400 pounds)I knew my boss would sign off the training costs..if i had asked for something more than that in terms of cost it would be likely that it wouldnt be approved. I agree with you that it would look good on and help bolster my CV a little.
