Hello i wish to proceed further in my H&S career and not sure in which direction to go.
I have the Nottingham Trent Diploma and both Nebosh General and NEBOSH Construction Certs.
Has anyone done a BA or MSc in Safety Health and Environment?
I am based in the Northwest and the nearest University is Salford who offer the MSc.
I will need to do it as a part time 3 year course.
Has anyone done this course how did they find it?
Or is an alternative such as distance learning with Portsmouth a better option?
Any advice would be gratefully recieved

Hi there

I did an MSc in Occupational H&S with Loughborough University which was a distance learning degree. THey did a "conversion" degree allowing students credit for related qualifications. In my case I only had to do 18 month (NEBOSH Dip). Might be worth a look.

Am currently completing (working on dissertation proposal) an Integrated Environmental Management MSc with Bath university, also distance learning. Could not say enough about the course or faculty, excellent., have learned loads.

There are some integrated degrees, HS&E but I don't know what level of detail they go into.

kind regards

Jonty
