WEEE vs. Biologically contaminated (bodily fluid) product

When it comes to which takes precedence has anyone any experience with this? My first inclination is to think that the contaminant aspect comes first thus the product should go for incineration or is it the case that a suitable (and potentially costly) decontamination procedure is set up? Any advice most welcome. Thank you

It depends on the category of the contaminant. The higher the category the more hazardous to humans and the greater the requirement for dealing with the contaminant prior to considering WEEE.

You could always formaldehyde fumigate to deal with the contamination and then follow WEEE.

I presume that you have a bit of equipment that is, or might be, contaminated with some biological
What is it? Is there a risk that must be managed? What if the equipment?
Incineration of electrical equipment waste is ridiculous - you wouldn't do that before servicing or repair. Consider a disinfectant, choosing it with care and using it properly.
Consider taking advice on the best approach, I can be contacted initially by PM

Thanks I'll look into this option. P.s blood and faeces likely to be the worst level of contaminant.
