This has probably been covered several times but when I searched it did not manage to uncover much. A company has used a product before namely Peelaway to remove existing layers of paint from window cills of an old building. After using this product they experienced problems with the finish of the new paint coverage. They now have another similar project whereby they have to remove old layers of paint and do not want to use Peelaway. They have talked about hot air guns etc. but for obvious reasons such as fumes I would not feel happy for them to proceed with this method. Any suggestions and comments would be greatly appreciated.

Hogan I think it's a question of better preparation of the surface. Start with the Peelaway, possibly followed by Nitromors or similar, then good sanding.
