Hi , I have been asked to develop a risk assessment ten plate for special needs personnel who may volunteer at our establishments ...does anyone know were I could look for examples./ guidance etc Many thanks

I would suggest that you don't have a specific template as surely each person will have different needs to be supported etc but take existing risk assessments and adapt to each person as required. If you have a look at a recent thread about Epilepsy risk assessments and others there may be some other ideas for you.

As you haven't indicated what classes of 'special needs' you may have to assess, it's important to differentiate between physical and psychological classes. For physical 'special needs', it's worth visiting the website of ergonomists who specialise in people with disabilities www.enricosmog.co.uk
