Hi Guys I need to find a suitable communication equipt that can be carried by maintenance staff in a factory for the purposes of contacting them to initiate the investigation of a fire alarm as part of ERP. The factory has a large footprint and they can be working in various locations throughout the shifts so i need something portable and easy to carry. Some areas are high noise and so we need something that will vibrate, flashing brightly and possible clip on somewhere so this is easily identifed when being called. Anyone come across anything matching this discription or even something else that is working for someone at present? Thank!

Just watch the cost with pagers they are expensive that is why most companies move away to mobile phones etc...There are ex rated phones if required we use a couple for CS/remote rescue teams..
