Good morning ladies and gents,
this a first post for me so please be gentle.
I have been approached regarding an offshore HSE Coach (behavioural safety) 4 on 4 off position in the middle east/far east, it is a contract position for 18 months.
What I would like from you experienced guys is what sort of day rate/ pay expectations should I be asking?
They have asked me what I would like and too be honest I'm a little unsure.
I currently work offshore UK with a salary plus benefits of aprox 80k so obviously have to be competitve.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Is it tax free or tax paid locally? you'll need to take that into account. In W Africa right now, offshore ex-pat HSE Advisors between $850 and $1000+ day. Watch out though, make sure you know they're reputable firm, there are some cons going on out there and you can find that what you get promised doesn't necessarily arrive. Good luck
