Just wondered if anyone here had a view on the value of first aid posters in the workplace. In a recent meeting of the Health & Safety committee a question was asked about the nice shiny first aid posters we recent purchased and are now proudly displaying next to the first aid station. 'Should we really have them up there, it's a bit like telling anyone they can have a go at first aid if they feel like it?' Thankfully after pointing out all the posters have the names, locations, ext. numbers etc of all the first aiders on them we moved on to other topics.
