Hi All,
I work for a very large organisation and we have staff that require PEEPs, no issues with that or the procedure on evacuating. What I do have some concerns with is communicating the PEEPs to the necessary staff e.g. fire wardens who aid with staff leaving - there can be up to 8 per floor, first aiders who will aid the person out - there can be 3 per floor as well as office managers who should know about the PEEPs for their office (but take no action).

Does anyone have any smart methods of communicating PEEPs to various people? Due to the nature of the work here, we can't usually allocate a single person to aid the person out hence the need to communicate to various people for awareness. Do people just email out the PEEP?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

How about including it in their fire training?

You could also make the subject of the PEEP be the custodian and raise general awareness with your wardens that a variety of PEEPs are in existence. On fire drills these can be rehearsed or "desktopped", depending on the individual circumstances.

I email the PEEP to the associated individual and then to the fire marshals on that particular floor.

Still on PEEPs but with a twist - I learned recently that there is veterinary guidance supported by FRS for PEEPs for all animals that will be accommodated overnight in the Vet's facility.

This includes animals while in the operating theatre.
