Hi all. I am looking for a training course that will highlight the CDM Co-ordinator's role. I have seen 3 day courses and also distance learning for 1 day (This for an in-house co-ordinator role).. I appreciate that this is only one step and the my NEBOSH will also count towards competency. I am keen to get on some form of training ASAP so would like any advice, guidance and recommendations. Many Thanks Ian

Hi Clegg, I carried out a 2 day CDMC role in practice course with a company called astutis last year. Reasonably priced, very good and knowledgeable tutor, brilliant course material that to be honest was'nt just limited to the CDMC role and CDM07. The course also sharpened my knowledge in other area's relating to health and safety. http://www.astutis.com/c...dinator_in_practice.html Hope this helps Regards, Martin

I have done courses with Astutis - IEMA as it happens and they are good so would recommend them. I have also worked with a firm called Callsafe http://www.callsafe-services.co.uk/training/ and they are good too.
