Currently reseaching training courses that, when combined with necessary experience, will render the recipient competent to Analyse Confined Space Atmospheres (mainly ship's tanks). Our guys who undertake this kind of work have done various courses which when coupled with their experience are sufficient to demonstrate competence, however we would like to standardise this for future Anaysts and for refresher training. Does anyone know of a nationally recognised course. Most available courses seem to be based around tanker familiarisation, rather than specific analyst duties. Any experience/knowledge you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
