Why is it that a lanyard and man harness would come under LOLER inspections, but a fall arrest system that is fixed that a man would clip the lanyard to is not.

Hi Simon Is there any reason you think that it is covered by LOLER? INDG387 is the guidance on inspecting fall arrest equipment, and it says this equipment is covered by PPE Regs, Work at Height Regs and BSEN 365. Here is a link. http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg367.pdf Hope this helps Ian
