The new guidance for bedrail checks states that you must test with a 120mm aluminium cone. Where can I get these cones from. I need around 100 for the Care Homes I look after.

I cannot answer your query however I would be grateful if you could identify which guidance are you referring to? The November 2012 MHRA Device Bulletin regarding the assesment of bedrails doesn't mention the use of cones, (it shows rulers being used). If you find a supplier can you post a link here so that others may benefit. Thanks.

You could probably have them made for you at a local jobbing engineering shop if you have a specification.
