I'm researching for an article on Fee for Intervention and got these figures for the value of invoices issued by the HSE 1 October 2012 - 30 November 2012 total invoice value £727,644.81. 1 December 2012 - 30 January 2013 total invoice value £857,254.34 31 January 2013 - 28 March 2013 total invoice value £1,088,874.37 The total amount invoiced over these three periods is £2,673,773.52 – the equivalent of 21,562 hours of HSE time charged at the standard £124 per hour. A scary amount of money is you ask me and figures that seem to be on the increase

The HSE has always maintained that the figures will steadily increase whilst the scheme gains momentum and beds in. Still a long way short of the intial prediction of £37million per year (which I doubt we will ever see).
