Hi Guys,
I have had a look at our overall H&S PowerPoint presentation lately and it is really in great need of revamping (designed prior to me starting) Apart from the usual info slides and group quizzes etc, can anyone suggest any practical topics that I can build in to break up the "Death by Powerpoint" scenario we quite often find ourselves in? We are in the business of social regeneration and take trainees on 6 month placements teaching them construction skills, soft and hard landscaping, woodworking, soap making and a whole list of different things. The list is endless.
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bryan

Hello Bryan,
You have the dubious honour of eliciting my first ever forum post so please humour me! I was considering this very concept of entertaining whilst informing this weekend whilst listening to a track called 'The Sicknote' performed by the Dubliners. I found it hilarious but at the same time it portrays everything in a 'what can go wrong will go wrong' scenario, I don't know about any copyright laws involved but, a bit of humour with a serious undertone could help to revitalise your presentation?
regards
Barry

Thanks for that Barry. I'll go and trawl you tube for it and maybe give it a whirl!
Thanks again,
Bryan
