Can someone please confirm the standards that apply for stairs and walkways (risers, goings, nosings and handrails) in a factory/manufacturing environment. I appreciate there are K building standards, British standard for stairs ladders and walkways etc. and someone also mentioned engineering standards (EEMUA), specific for factories. Have become a little confused ! A simple diagram with standards would be great - thanks

EEMUA 105 Factory stairways, ladders, handrails and access platforms Can be used. Or there is a British Standard that covers similar ground. Not much to choose between the 2 documents.
