How did everyone find the NEBOSH Graduation Ceromony yesterday? I thought it was a great day and very well organised by NEBOSH. After 3 years of working towards my diploma I felt very proud to of achieved the qualification.

Not there yesterday but attended mine with my teenage daughter last June and it was a great day, very well organised and as you say well worth the 3yrs of hard study and sleepless nights. Well done on your achievement, savour for a day or two then start on your SDP for CMIOSH ;-)

I did the 2011 one (Env Management) and the 2013 version for my H&S Diploma. Interestingly and probably as a result of either feedback or analysis, they'd changed the place where you registered and picked up your bag of stuff to a place nearer to the car park, so as to alleviate the scrum of people all descending on the same place to get gowned up and photographed. A sensible move. Advice for anyone going next year and arriving around 9am (a sensible time if coming from afar!) is to save yourselves aggro and stress by parking in the car park furthest away from the hall (number 17?), as you will end up parking there anyway after you've been caught in all the traffic in the loop around the buildings! The only improvement to the day would have been to send someone out to do that, but as I'd been before, I knew the drill. Still, a good day and as everyone says, reward for the two years of slog on my part! I sank a few beers, met some course colleagues/lecturers for a good chat, was nearly last out of the drinks reception and rightfully fell asleep in the car whilst being driven home!
