Quick note for those not already aware of it, showing on BBC2 TV tonight from 21:00 to 22:30 is what is billed as a detailed documentary "Piper Alpha: Fire in the Night".

I was dissapointed with it, lots of lingering 'mood' shots between interviews frankly IMO spoiled the pace and didn't really add (except survivors accounts) to what the BBC 'Disaster' documentary showed. It could have been so much better...

Agree the "Disaster" film is better and only clocks in at 30 mins if memory serves.
