I read that the BBC has finally admitted that which was patently obvious: "The Wright Way" was not funny and axed it. http://www.independent.c...-by-the-bbc-8698337.html Ben Elton has created some very funny, memorable characters over the years and his novels are hugely enjoyable (IMO) : its a shame that no one had the courage to tell him that this latest project was simply cringeworthy.
