Hi Does anyone have information about H&S Auditor Courses which cover the principles and best practice aspects of auditing? I am looking fior something which is NOT 18001 based, but something more comprehensive about techniques / principles etc Thanks

Many years ago I attended the RoSPA QSA course, and found it an excellent practical basis for auditing using the QSA tool, and subsequently on which to build various bespoke audit programmes (and to train a team of auditors). Plenty of time given to practice and very good tutor direction. Not cheap, but the best rarely is. I've also attended the LRQA / IRCA course - (client requirement!) - and found it light on detail, and lacking in "practical" time. Steve
