Hi, The company that I work for is starting to train students aged 14-19 in engineering in September. Following a health and safety audit by the local authority I have been told that all the machine guarding must comply with BS4163, but I am finding it difficult to find anyone who supplies these guards. Does anyone know of a supplier or how I can comply with this standard? Thanks

It's BS 4163, not EN as it is a UK only Std. There are many options. I have to be careful in what I say, but, I would NOT go with the suggestions to date. I can give a lot more info & advice, but I need more info first. PM if you wish.

Have a word with Procter Machine Guarding in Bedwas, South Wales. I have no connection with them but have found them extremely competent.
