Hello Everyone,

I have worked in H&S for 4 years in a cosmetics manufacturing environment, in June I was made redundant due to the company and I quote 'not wanting to invest any more money on H&S'.

I am pleased to say that this was probably the best thing that could of happened as I now have been employed as a H&S Co-ordinator for an aerospace engineering manufacturers. Whilst this is great it has made me realise how little I know about this industry and it has shaken my confidence a little. I have done both my NEBOSH GC and Fire Risk Management course but due to my previous employer feel that I have not put these to good enough use.

So my question is, would anyone who is in a similar position in a similar industry allow me to visit and ask some questions? I am after a bit of reassurance that what I am doing is along the right lines. I am based in the South but willing to travel.

Many Thanks
Angie

Hi Angie

Suggest you get down to your local Branch(es) meetings and do some networking.

Hi Angie

Not able to help directly, as I'm a totally different industry. However, I have been to numerous South Coast branch meetings (at the Ageas Bowl generally), and have found them very friendly and helpful.
