Hi
I'm applying for a post in California. For supporting information on my CV I was hoping to gain at least a 10 hr. Cal OSHA card (general). I enrolled on line but unfortunately it is for US based addresses. So as an alternative are there any course materials that you folks may have? Either the 30 hr. or 10 hr pdf files for example that you may share subject to the other conditions that may apply for passing on files and copyright etc. I understand that Cal OSHA are perhaps more strict that the federal OSHA requiurements. So its the particular state requirements that may be of interest. I'm quite familiar with the concept of safety management as I'm Grad IOSH and a Masters so I don't need to start from scratch so to speak.
Just a follow up request (pushing it a bit probably) but if there is anything on the environment side "Cal-EPA" that would be fab too.
So if called to interview I can say I have some basic insight in California legislation
And I'm not even thinking about the Calfornian lifestyle .....honest.....well....Yes it's long way to go and other personal factors are also in the mix (education, pensions, green card, cost of living....)
Thanking you
Tony

It's only a moderate exaggeration to say that nearly every chemical in existence seems to be known to the state of California to cause cancer.

Thanks Kate,
Yes I had heard the strict and prescriptive approach to safety with not a lot of reasonable risk management
"everything is a potential death trap"
