Folks We are a HGV transport company who have a dedicated driver trainer who trains and assesses all our drivers on an ongoing basis. We are looking for DVDs that show road traffic accidents/reconstructions and the effects of not paying attention. Something similar to adds you see on tv. Can anyone advise me were I could get such dvds to show our employees. Any help is appreciated Edddie

A few years ago I got a free DVD from Brake, the road safety charity. It is a series of short films where victims/relatives talk about an accident and the impact it has had on their life and family. http://www.brake.org.uk/ The stories featured are powerful and emotional. Not sure if the DVD is still available, but a quick look on their web site I sound a section with videos that can be viewed/downloaded. A couple of these are on the DVD I have, others a newer stories. http://www.2young2die.org.uk/videos.html They also run the Road Safety Forum and the Fleet Safety Forum which might be of interest to you :- http://www.fleetsafetyforum.org.uk/ http://www.roadsafetyforum.org.uk/index.aspx Brake also have some videos posted on YouTube :- http://www.youtube.com/user/BrakeRoadSafetyUK

There is a good video that Tim Marsh got involved with a local police force - it is rather hard hitting - but memorable - see link to article http://www.rydermarsh.co.uk/pdfs/SHP.1011.pdf
