Might be old news - if so v.sorry all..... ACOPs are disappearing from the HSE website. I was talking with an inspector recently who stated that the first he knew about a document vanishing from the website was when his links stopped working! Time to back up an off line copy me thinks.

which ones in particular? They seem to have started hiding some of them by directing you to HSE publications and perhaps trying to get you to buy a copy rather than a free download. Looks dodgy, perhaps we should report them to the office of fair trading?

Hi Martin As A Kurdziel said, are any particular ACOPs that you are referring to? bear in mind that some ACOPs have been permenantly withdrawn (ie Management ACOP) and quite a few others are being reviewed (and hence may have been withdrawn until updated). A link tothe current ACOPs can be found here: http://www.hse.gov.uk/pu...ooks/index-legal-ref.htm

Stuff is disappearing and being replaced by inferior stuff or promises of jam tomorrow. There is an excellent letter in SHP this month from Mike Green, who hits the nail square on the head.
