Hi
A company want to hire our FLT and Operator as There own FLT is not big enough for the task.
which is to lift and move a small metal frame in their workshop, They do not want to engage in a contract lift where we would work within our own procedures,IE, Labour, RA & MS and Tool Box Talk
Am i right in thinking If we go ahead with the task they will they have to supply to us their own RA / MS
cheers

Could be a tricky one. They will have to provide a safe place of work for your operator as the "persons" in control of the workplace. This can include risk assessments.
However, your equipment will be maintained and operated to your standards and by your competent person, and the "employers" responsibility to conduct the risk assessment will still apply. You have to do an assessment of the risk to your employee on their property, possibly referencing their RA, how do you get the FLT there, who will direct / supervise the task, etc.

Thanks J,
Think we have it sorted, We supply man and machine complete with Certification to them,
They supply RA/MS Tool Box Talks, our operator and myself will review and if suitable and sufficient he will sign onto them effectivly putting him under there control
There Lift Co Ordinator will conduct all tasks working from there RA / MS
thanks
W.
