I am looking for a suitable stand alone course (not part of an NVQ etc) in excavation safety that would suit Safety Engineers and Site Supervisors who oversee and manage work in excavations. These are not plant operators. Anyone know of anything that fits the bill?

Speak to Paul Stewart at Carmel Safety Training. When I was an instructor at the CITB he used to do lots of work for us including excavation safety training.
