I have a client who has a small photo studio where they take photo's of their products for publicity and catalogs etc. Some of the shots require the photographer to take shots from steps and they are looking for guidance on how to do this safely. They are following HSE guidance on ladders and steps but this does not fully address the operation.

Does anyone have any further guidance or inhouse work instructions for such activities they could share

The ladder Association can help with this. http://ladderassociation.org.uk/
There are a number of companies making folding podium steps which would possibly suit.
