Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can find reports on actual incidents and outcomes, preferably with compensation & fines. I require the information for a project business case.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am assuming that you are referring to accidents in terminals..?
There may be prosecutions but I would have thoguht the outcome/injury from such events would be such that HSE (or local authorities) woulddn't be involved.
There is no national database of compensation claims; most will be for small sums and will be settled out of court with no publicity. So I wouldn't hold out much hope of getting information. Unless you can persuade an airport operator to open their files for you.

You are unlikely to find anything about this on the HSE website, as most of the accidents probably occur landside ie. before you get to security. The local authority will almost invariably be the enforcing authority landside - HSE the enforcing authority airside.
You find more joy by comparing rail accidents at stations. Lots of stuff (including decades of incidents data) about the Safety Risk Model on the RSSB website.

Yep above posters right.
Just had a nose on HSE site - crushed by tug, knocked down by a vehicle, fall from height, hit by vehicle but no slip or trips.

I am afraid that there is no regulatory reporting other than RIDDOR and the existing industry breakdown for SIC codes will not facilitate even the RIDDOR reported ones to airport passengers( i,e. members of public). You could try to network with the Health & Safety Director/Manager of say, BAA and obtain some data if they arewilling to share. Regarding compensation, a vast majority of compensation claims could be settled before going on a civil trial. I would have thought that the "potential" for slips trips & falls itself should be sufficient for justifying, say a suitable flooring.
