Things seem a bit tense on here at the moment and as it is nearly Friday, something fairly non contentious. If your Health and Safety career could be represented by a film, what film would it be and why? I’ll start with my film; there were a few horror films that came to mind but decided to stay family friendly, so I’m going for “Scooby Doo” 1) I sometimes feel I’m treated like a dog 2) I end up looking like shaggy by the end of the week (sometimes Tuesday!) 3) There is often a bad guy pretending to be a good guy. 4) I also work in what could be described as the mystery machine. 5) Something is bound to come back and haunt me at some point 6) I’m paid in the monetary equivalent of Scooby snacks 7) I would like to think it all comes good in the end. Over to you….

Star trek 1) to boldly go where no safety regime has gone before 2) beam me up when the HSE about! 3) health and safety the final frontier before I retire 4) if only I had a workforce that was disciplined like "DATA" 5) I sometimes look at the stars and wonder? Are we really alone, or has all planets got the equivalent to the HSE

"A river runs through it". You cast your lure, hope that something will bite.......then you catch them, pull them in, then let them go to tell their mates..................

Taxi Driver. I have a bad haircut. There's blood pouring out of my neck. I put gunfingers to my head and laugh psychotically. That's Monday covered. I'll work on films for the rest of the week.

Ha ha ha, loving this thread, nice one chris42. For me I would have had to say it was Monyt Python and the search for the hol grail. There was always total chaos and idiots everywhere that thought they knew what they were doing but only made things worse.

Harry Potter !!!! As I regularly tell our lot, "Its a computer, not a magic wand" when they want Rams "urgently" because they "forgot" to let us know as if by magic that the operation they are carrying out has changed. ;-)) Andy
