how many years does the IOSH managing safety course last before it needs to be renewed, thank you

Latchy I deliver the IOSH MS and there is no expiry date. Some providers do put a three year expiry and IMHO this then enables them to charge for renewal, it is not required. Best Practice would be to offer refresher training but as the full MS training is about giving staff the skills to understand their responsibilities regarding H&S, identify risks/hazards, inplememnt control measure etc. You dont forget these skills and they improve the more you put into practice so I would not see any merit in putting staff through the full training again. I stand to be corrected and probably will on this forum but this is my view
