Hi all I’m looking for reference for working height in kitchens (ie work surface/appliances) I’ve found the attached in HSG60, but not really specific. Ergonomically 36” or hip height is good for standing tasks, but can’t find anything that states that definitively – any thoughts? I’m basically looking for an argument to prove that a hotplate at 45” is too high! Jim

U also need to account for equality NB: All the build codes etc. that are out there are guides only therefore you need to evaluate what your specific needs are and work to suit your circumstances and that is the problem with H&S as people like to use B Standards etc. as they give people some form of security as against making decisions themselves
