Seriously, how clever does this guy think he is? The phrase "Cotton Wool Wrapping Brigade" really is a perfect example of the barriers and lack of understanding we face on a near daily basis.

Having read the article, it is apparent that the attributed author is very proud of Sir Arthur Wellesley although his zenophobic view of history is lamentable.
What that had to do with a worrying lack of understanding about the total non-role of the HSE in the decisions of a [presumably suitably qualified and accredited] referee is beyond me; as is the article prominence in the paper!
Unfortunately, this type of bilge is far too common and generally unquestioned. The author appears to be yet another supporter of a branch of English politics that wishes to be isolated from the rest of Europe and send the kids back up the chimneys - delusional!
