Can I ask if anybody uses the MAC assessment tool? and if so, how well does it work for you? is there a simpler version that my fellow professionals use? look forward to receiving your input.
Thanks Joe

I have used it routinely as a filter to determine priorities Joey.
Once you get those who really need it to understand the flow, it is really simple to use.
I would not use only the MAC Tools for MH RA as they are not really designed for that function.
If you think about it, you can also create an extrapolated MAC Tool for "pushing and pulling".

Joey
We used it on a contract - it was very clunky and very time consuming. We were trying to provide something that was repeatable and less subjective than a normal assessment. We would not use this again... and the client did not like it ... and they still have not paid us ..... so my vote is a no
There are some really good bits you can take out though like Frank said - eg use a spring balance to see what the load when pushing / pulling is ... mind you the normal conclusion once you start measuring force on for example moving cages and pump trucks is we cant do that.... yet there are millions of daily movements.....
Kind regards
Bruce
