You can download a Guide from HSE website (search under 'classification and labelling)' - I think you'll probably find that more helpful than the Regs themselves?

You can download these from the Internet free of charge. Bear in mind that these regulations run to some 1335 pages! If you have difficult downloading them PM me with your e-mail and I can forward them to you by return. With regard to interpreting them (and they do need 'interpreting') you might consider contacting the Chemical Hazards Communication Society (chcs.org.uk). They run excellent courses on this topic and have a useful Internet forum for questions, etc. Chris

You need not have to go through the full text of the regulatiuons in the first instance. As Ian has indiacted, there is a suite of HSE Guidance and links to ECHA website It would have helped if you had indicated your role , i.e,. whether you are a supplier, importer or a user of chemicals http://www.hse.gov.uk/ch...classification/index.htm
