Dangerous Goods Transport by Road - Lithium ion batteries

Is anyone able to provide some advice please regarding the transportation of single units of e-readers i.e. correct packaging and labelling. A site that I advise, receive bulk quantities of these units - the outer packaging is labelled with a lithium battery warning. The bulk quantities are then broken down, re-packaged and then sent either to a retail store or directly to the consumer. Having looked at the information currently available, I am unsure as to whether there are exemptions for these single/small quantities or whether we need to label, have a help line etc. Any steers would be great.

www.iata.org/whatwedo/ca...ttery-Guidance-2014.p...This will give some guidance, however it relates to Air transport. But after reading this you should be able to ascertain the types of batteries, i.e. cell or battery. You will need to identify the lithium content & watt hour rating. I very much doubt they attract the provisions of ADR/IMDG
