I arrived on a site on Monday last to cover for the site manager 2/3 weeks.

Client; Large national house builder.

PC; (My employer) Land regeneration company.

PC's Construction Phase Plan file all in order and RAMS in place for the land remediation work.

The clients company are also on site doing overlapping works, ie: concreting the plots and getting brickwork up to slab height, setting up compound for when PC's work is complete so they can then complete the buy off and procede as PC for their house building project.

There is no mention of any overlapping works or rams in the CPP.
No inductions for the clients employees engaged in overlapping works.

Basically the client is doing what they please with scant regard to CDM regs.
The project is running 3 weeks behind due to the adverse weather conditions of the past few months.
I feel like I should just walk at the end of the day.
If i raise this issue I think I will be dismissed.

Any suggestions out there

I had something similar with a Client based on site, they got guys in with no PPE, yet yellow/red carded our guys going to/from break or working in completed rooms......it wasnt nice.

Perhaps, you can put your views in writing to your MD, and suggest that they contact the Client to discuss?
