Hi All,
I already have a Post Graduate Certificate in Safety and Risk Management (Strathclyde University). As a way of trying to bring in more knowledge (for a cheaper price) I purchased all three diploma study books to offset anything the above did not cover.
My question to the forum would be, do I save and continue on to the Pg Dip and eventually MSC route whilst doing NEBOSH Fire and other courses etc. Or do I save and spend the money on doing the NEBOSH Diploma???
I have been advised by IOSH to continue on MSC route.
Many thanks in advance
Scott

continue with the Masters is my advice. Your PGC is an higher qualification than the Dip sitting at level 7 - the Dip is 6.

It may depend why you are doing the qualification. If you are looking for future employment opportunities many companies don't know what they want and default to NEBOSH Diploma as the recognised tick in the box.
The PGC will qualify you to get you Grad IOSH if you have enough H&S experience in your CV, then do the open book and Interview route for CMIOSH.

Go Msc, In your position I would see the NEBOSH diploma as a step backwards.

IOSH is correct as the MSc has very much more transferable value that the NEBOSH Diploma. I have both, but it was my MSc which enabled me to obtain a second Chartered qualification in Construction!
