Since the HSE aren't seemingly making a song or dance about it... http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/books/hsg274.htm The updated Part 2 for hot/cold water systems was published on their website a few days ago...so now the updated L8 and accompanying guidance are complete. For my two pennies worth, I like them. The guidance is far more detailed about some areas whilst at the same time making it clearer that dutyholders have more free reign decide their control measures based upon risk assessment - rather than simply following the lists of recommended checks/frequencies that there used to be.
