I wasn't aware of the "Daily Mash" website until you posted your thread and subsequently spent some time chortling at a random selection of its pages with contents which can be described as amusing, puerile, witty, edgy, satirical, etc. "Elf n safety" doesn't seem to get much coverage although I did find an item at http://www.thedailymash....fety-reasons-20070620224 which might be of mild amusement to some forum users. :-)

My earlier posting should also have warned that the "Daily Mash" website includes content ranging from irreverent to extremely irreverent. Also, as it contains links to "proper websites", perhaps the website itself could be described as improper! In addition, some content seems close to the truth. For example, an article about the late Bob Crow of the RMT Transport Union describes him as "the only union leader most people under 40 have ever heard of". :-)
