Hi All!

I was just wondering if any of you have provided your staff with spikes or chain footwear for use during inclement weather?

Cheers

Hi

We have chosen Yaktrax Walkers for our guys who work in areas with snow and ice. They are a coil design that fit onto your shoes / boots.

Let's hope we don't need them for a while yet!

My last place we thought about the grips but as they would have to be removed to go into someones house or a shop etc we thought that perhaps not.

Also thought about them for Service Users but again bending to put on and take off was a bit much for them.

Above was generally and each situation and person was considered and then exemptions made
