Grumps

A friend is using a VDU and computer for seven hours on three days each week as part of her employment. How often should she have an eye test/ Should her employer pay for this test/. Should her employer pay for or make a contribution towards the cost of glasses? I know a risk assessment should be done on the work station. Should this include reference to the eye tests? Please include reference to law orHSE documents. I am now retired and have not kept up date on H & S so cannot give her any advice.
