Good afternoon all, an audit has thrown up deficiencies in the the care being taken of the coolant in two machines. As a result I am looking for recommendations for companies who undertake this work, monitoring, testing etc. I am aware that suppliers offer this service in some cases, but in this instance the customer does not buy enough to enjoy that service. Please PM if you know of companies in my area, West of Scotland/ Glasgow. Thank you,
JM

You could always do it inhouse, no special traininer required as such, pH paper for pH and if you want to do the bacterial counts the dip slides come with some quite straight forward instructions. Anything else such as sg or water content may be a bit harder though. Depends what your after.

Just use a refractometer to monitor coolant strength. Not difficult at all. I would also use a simple, relatively inexpensive pH meter. It may not be as accurate as the more expensive tools, but I have found it adequate to monitor coolant pH trend, which is what we are really concerned with.

We do it all inhouse - P.H, concentration, dip slide and annual flush, very simple tasks that the operatives carry out.

Thank you to all who replied. I take the point that it is not as complicated as it first appeared. We'll go ahead and get the gear and go from there.
Thanks
JM
